Shinjuku Sobakura(新宿そば蔵)is a cheap and tasty izakaya styled soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant located near the Shinjuku Gyoen♪
Here you can enjoy soba made from selected buckwheat flour and subsoil water of Mt. Tateshina.
There are tables and chairs outside the restaurant which does not have such a stylish atmosphere, but is good to use as an open terrace, especially in the winter season when the space is covered and when they have a heater!
Here you can enjoy many different set menus which comes with soba, tempura and many other dishes. You will be full on less than 2000 yen, even if you eat a set of soba with a cup of drink on the way home from work.
2-Shoku Ten-soba costs 800 yen. A set of 2-shoku soba and half don (rice bowl topped with different ingredients) will cost you 1000 yen. Half-don can choose from 7 kinds such as steak-don, natto tororo don, anago ten-don, etc.
The lunch set is cost 850 yen which comes with both don and the soba, more profitable!
