There is a chain of 140 islands, located within the East China Sea, approximately 100 kilometers west of Nagasaki Prefecture. There are 5 main Islands within this group, called the Goto Islands.
The Izakaya, called “Goto Jin (五島人 西新宿店)” provide meals made from freshly caught fish in the seas around the Goto islands.
Sashimi platter of Aji (Mackerel), Kawahagi (Filefish), Ise-ebi (Spiny Lobster), Uni (Sea urchin), Sazae (Turbo cornutus), Ika soumen (squid noodles), Katsuo(bonito), will cost you 2800 yen.
“Aji no Tataki” cost 1,280 yen. This is a finely Chopped Horse Mackerel Sashimi. It is a yummy sashimi dish which contains the refreshing taste of ginger.
“Aji” taste is delicate and sweet yet flavourful. It pairs especially well with “akasu” flavoured sushi-meshi.
“Gotobuta Tsubaki mori” costs 880 yen. “Goto butakata roast slice” costs 880 yen. “Yasai shabu-shabu moriawase” costs 780 yen.
Shabu-shabu costs 2000 yen. Japanese Spiny Lobster Sashimi costs 2000 yen.
Japanese Spiny Lobster Sashimi is crunchy in texture and has an “umami” flavour of sashimi.
There is a course with all-you-can-drink which costs 4000 yen, 5000 yen, 6000 yen per person.
Sashimi mori (sliced raw fish), Shabu Shabu course of famous robata (fireside-cooking) will cost 4000 yen per person, which comes with 8 different kinds of dishes.
