“GINGER GRASS modern Thai Vietnamese”, is a dining restaurant with a ‘Modern Asian’ concept, where you can enjoy Thai and Vietnamese mixed cuisine. It recently opened in Shinjuku Southern Terrace on Saturday 14th July 2018.
Once you pass through the entrance surrounded by subtropical green and ponds, you will find a relaxing area which does not feel like being in Shinjuku.

The interior of the restaurant is divided into an open main dining and a bar area, a private room and a terrace, which is also convenient to use with various scenes.
The main dining area proposes an adult space where subtropical green shines on a blue wall spreading over the entire area.
In the bar area, there is an impact space where tiles painted by imagining the jungle spread all over the area.

The cuisine served in this restaurant is Modern Asian which combines the stimulating Thai cuisine and gentle Vietnamese cuisine.
Herbs are the decisive factors of taste originate from Thailand and Vietnam, additionally they also use Southeast Asia’s original Nampula-based sauce (fish sauce) and hot chili sauce as well as Japanese ancient ingredients such as soybeans, Tamari soy sauce and soup stock.
The recommended cuisine is Spring roll of shrimp and chicken breast strips “Goikun” costs 700 yen, Tom Yam Kung (small size) costs 700 yen and much more.

There is also a Lunch menu which will cost you from 1,100 yen (with drink and soup). Lunch menu “Pad Thai (Thai style fried noodles)” will comes with salad and drink, which cost you 1200 yen.
