Oiwakedango (追分だんご) is a long-established dango (rice dumpling) shop founded in 1945 in Shinjuku.
The shop offers a wide variety of dango flavors such as Mitarashi, Kusa (mugwort), Yomogi, Goma (sesame), Yuzu, and more.
With so many options available, it’s easy to get lost in choosing which to try!
One of their most popular items is the *Ichigo Daifuku* (Strawberry Rice Cake).
The classic *Mitarashi Dango* currently costs 226 yen per piece (tax included).
At the cafe located at the back of the shop, you can enjoy freshly made dango, tea, and during summer, refreshing kakigori (shaved ice).
