Enjoy a Hot Spring Experience in the Heart of Shinjuku
Did you know that there is a Tennen Onsen (Natural hot spring) in Kabukicho, Shinjuku?
You can relax at the hot spring facility while being in the midst of the city.
Relaxing Bath Area
Inside Thermae-Yu(テルマー湯), the hall is unified with white colors and features an elegant interior in the Roman style.
It feels like being in a resort, and you wouldn’t believe you are in the midst of a bustling city.
There were facilities similar to that of a hotel, offering shavers, tooth brush, and hair rubber band. Also in the powder room, there were toners, milky lotion, cleansing foam and body-cream.
In the bathroom, there are 6 kinds of indoor baths and they also have an open-air bath surrounded by privacy walls. There are also two saunas “High-temperature sauna” and “Mist sauna”. (For women, there is a Mud pack with hydrogen water & Salt sauna).
The hot springs carry every day from Nakaizu Onsen “Jindai no Yu”:
• Hot water temperature: at about 42℃
• Fountain quality water: containing Sodium, Calcium, Sulfate (Hypotonic / Alkaline High Spring)
It is a hot spring that is also called “beautiful waters” because it can be expected to have effects on beautiful skin and fatigue recovery.
There are 2 restaurants that can enjoy Japanese cuisine and ethnic cuisine such as Thai, Vietnamese, etc.
Dining Facilities
There are four dining options inside Thermae-Yu where you can enjoy meals and drinks:
・”Sansuisoumoku” – A traditional Japanese izakaya serving seasonal dishes and carefully selected sake.
・”Karankoron” Veggie & Noodle Ethnic Izakaya – Offers a variety of Asian cuisine including Thai, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Indonesian, Chinese, and Korean dishes.
・”SPRE BEAUTY & Juice Lab” – Serves fresh smoothies and juices made from fruits and vegetables, packed with vitamins and minerals.
・”Thermae-Yu BAR (WORLD BEER BAR)” – Features 16 types of beer from around the world, as well as Oropon drinks and soft beverages.
Take your time to enjoy a delicious meal or a relaxing drink after your bath. Great for girls’ nights out too!
