Did you know that there is a Tennen Onsen (Natural hot spring) in Kabukicho, Shinjuku?
Since I really like hot springs, I decided to make a quick visit to “Thermae-Yu (東京新宿天然温泉テルマー湯)”. Inside, the hall was unified with white colours and had an elegant interior of Roman style.
It was so good that I forgot the fact that I am still in Shinjuku.
There were facilities similar to that of a hotel, offering shavers, tooth brush, and hair rubber band. Also in the powder room, there were toners, milky lotion, cleansing foam and body-cream.
In the bathroom, there are 6 kinds of indoor baths and they also have an open-air bath surrounded by privacy walls. There are also two saunas “High-temperature sauna” and “Mist sauna”. (For women, there is a Mud pack with hydrogen water & Salt sauna).
The hot springs carry every day from Nakaizu Onsen “Jindai no Yu”:
• Hot water temperature: at about 42℃
• Fountain quality water: containing Sodium, Calcium, Sulfate (Hypotonic / Alkaline High Spring)
It is a hot spring that is also called “beautiful waters” because it can be expected to have effects on beautiful skin and fatigue recovery.
There are 2 restaurants that can enjoy Japanese cuisine and ethnic cuisine such as Thai, Vietnamese, etc.
