Accompanies with my two younger staff I went to experience the coverage of “Tokyo Mystery Circus” which is the largest mysterious and a puzzle-solving “Theme Park” in Japan that opened last December in 2017!
TMC has been created by SCRAP, which is familiar to a real escape game. The catchphrase is the world’s first “theme park of Mystery”. With a total area of about 500 tsubo (about 1,650㎡), you can enjoy the different mysterious solving experience on each floor.
I think on this occasion because we visited on the weekday in the evening, we saw many students around the age of 10 to 20 as well as couples and small groups peoples who enjoyed playing the games.
This theme park has 5 floors in total, from basement 1st floor to 4th floor above the ground.
1F Mystery Atrium
The first floor is the entrance of this park where you can see a ticket counter, a merchandise shop and a “yelo CAFE” where you can enjoy shaved ice, hot dog and much more.
2F Real Investigation Area / Mini Real Escape Room
On this floor you can enjoy two types of games, the ‘Real Investigation Game’, where players use this entire town area to crack a case. The other is a mini ‘Real Escape Game’ that is played in a short amount of time with a small number of players.
Ongoing game on this floor: “Kabukicho Detective Seven (only in Japanese language)” and “Escape from The Prison in just 10 minutes.”
