Sarabeth’s (サラベス), which is praised as “The Breakfast Queen of New York”, was originally founded in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York in 1981 by Ms. Sarabeth Levine (born in New York City).
This shop is popular for the “Healthy & Rich” taste of the many traditional American breakfast menu such as French toast, pancake, egg benedict, waffle, including fruit spread made with recipes that has been handed down in the family (low-sugar jam with sweetness of seasonal fruits).
Since the Zagat (restaurant rating guide) Survey has chosen Sarabeth’s as the “No.1 Dessert Restaurant in New York” and New York Magazine has praised Sarabeth as “The Breakfast Queen of New York”, many celebrities start to visit this shop.
It is also famous for instructing cooking to “Meryl Streep” who starred in the movie “It’s Complicated”.
The essential egg recipe for a brunch “Classic Eggs Benedict” cost 1,450 yen. Topped with smoked ham, homemade Hollandaise sauce, paprika and chive.
The representative menu for the breakfast sweets “Fat and Fluffy French Toast” will cost 1,250 yen. The fluffy French toast is topped with fresh strawberries and you can enjoy with maple syrup.
