IL Bacaro (イル・バーカロ) is a bar / restaurant with both standing and seated sections. The restaurant is famed for its standing section, once you enter the bar the standing bar is visible, having menu dishes displayed within a glass case and then further into the building is the main restaurant and seating.
In the standing counter (Banco), you can enjoy a glass of wine from 250 yen and appetizers from 100 yen. It is a very reasonable price. Here you can drink alone or with a friend on the way home from work.
In the restaurant, you can taste real authentic Venetian cuisine. An assorted appetizer costs 1100 yen and Venice styled Sardine’s escabeche costs 1180 yen.
All wines are imported by their own company, which has 60 types of wines. You can also enjoy 15 kinds of wine in a decanter (1/4 ℓ from 900 yen and 1/2 ℓ from 1800 yen).
