A cheap and delicious “Kushi-age” (Deep fried skewers) restaurant in Shinjuku Golden-gai♪
‘Shinjuku Golden-gai’, where I often go for the drink, has recently become like a sightseeing spot and now it is somewhere where you’ll find many foreigners from Europe and the United States.
That’s why this restaurant “Dongara Gasshan (どんがらがっしゃん)” is also filled with foreign visitors and Japanese people at night.
There are around more than 40 kinds of “Kushi-age”, which will you cost you between 100 yen and 250 yen, for one skewer.
Like the authentic Osaka Kushi-katsu restaurant, pickling the sauce twice is prohibited.
The good thing is that the cover charge of the restaurant is also free in this area!
