Hanazono Shrine Grand Festival will be held on the closest weekend to May 28 each year. This traditional festival at Shinjuku’s Hanazono Shrine features the usual array of food stalls (about 100).
The highlight comes during the daytime on May 28 (Sunday), when the mikoshi (portable shrine) is taken on a tour between Meiji Dori and Shinjuku-Dori!
Our staff is going to carry Mikoshi this year also ♪
