Guide to Live in Shinjuku

Shinjuku City has more than 330,000 inhabitants, among whom one out of ten are foreigners.
These people come from over 132 different countries and live in this city for such wide-ranging reasons study, work, and marriage.

Since foreigners living in Shinjuku area are rapidly growing, Shinjuku City government created “Guide to Living in Shinjuku” to introduce Japanese basic lifestyle rules or habits, useful living facilities, and much more for foreigners, and have started distributing it!

This guide book was created on the basis of experiences and blunders of foreign residents who have been living in Japan for a long time.

Those who are planning to live in Shinjuku or who are already start living in Shinjuku, please read this guide book at least once!
