List of Smoking area around Shinjuku Station

In Shinjuku Ward, smoking on the street has forbidden in the whole area. Although it is friendly to the environment, it is hard for smokers to search for smoking areas. If you are looking for a smoking place please check it!
First of all, I would like to introduce you a 5 spot where you can smoke on the streets around Shinjuku Station.

1. Shinjuku Station West Exit Smoking Area
Hours of operation: 24 hours
The two smoking areas located in front of the west exit of Shinjuku Station have been consolidated and relocated to the West Exit Rotary, which is located across the pedestrian crossing.
To enhance the effect of smoke separation, the area is surrounded by smoke separation panels, making it difficult for smoke to escape outside.
The night view is beautiful!

2. Smoking area in front of PEPE on Seibu Shinjuku Station
Available Time: 24 Hour
This smoking area is located in the public square in front of the Seibu Shinjuku Line PEPE. On the other side of the smoking area, there is a large monitor of LABI where you can also relax while listening to music!
There is no roof here as well.

3. Seibu Shinjuku Station PEPE Smoking Area
Hours of Operation: 24 hours
This smoking area is located in the plaza in front of PEPE on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. You can sometimes relax while listening to music and looking at the large monitor of LABI on the other side of the smoking area. There is also no roof here.

4. Shinjuku Station Southeast Exit Smoking Area Under Elevated Structure
Hours of use: 6:00-24:00
This is an indoor smoking area under the elevated structure. There is even a vending machine inside where you can buy drinks after smoking. Because it’s indoors, you can relax here even on rainy or windy days. However, please note that the operating hours are not 24 hours, so be careful.

5. Cocoon Tower
Opening hours: 8:00-22:00
Closed on Sundays and national holidays.
Walking along the pedestrian bridge that leads from Shinjuku West Exit to Odakyu Halc, Shinjuku Alta, and Odakyu Park (formerly Shinjuku Subaru Building), you will see Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower on your right and Odakyu Park on your left. There is a no-smoking area behind this vending machine.
