After the shop was founded in Kanazawa in 1834, Yoshiro Ishikawa, the 3rd generation of shop owner set up a head office in Shinjuku in the 1930s. <\/p>\n<p>From December 20, 2018, this head office has been moved to the building next to its old location. It has now collaborated with Ginza Sembikiya (\u9280\u5ea7\u5343\u758b\u5c4b) and has renewal opened with a fresh start.<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yokoso-shinjuku.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/hanazono-manjyu_1.jpg\" alt=\"hanazono-manjyu1\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cafe space is also available<\/p><\/div><div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yokoso-shinjuku.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/hanazono-manjyu_2.jpg\" alt=\"hanazono-manjyu2\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spacious space inside the shop<\/p><\/div><br style=\"clear:both;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hanazono Manjyu&#8221; is a sweet, which was invented as a specialty for Shinjuku&#8217;s &#8220;Hanazono Shrine&#8221; that sits infront of the shop. It also became the name of shop that it is known as today.<\/p>\n<p>The moist skin of Hanazono Manjyu is made with a mixture of Yamato Imo and powder. For Aan (bean paste), they use red beans of Hokkaido and wasanbon sugar (refined sugar) of Shikoku. All of the process for making Hanazono Manjyu are done very politely and are finished carefully. It is a representative sweet of Shinjuku which has been loved for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>With the opening, the new product &#8220;Hanazono Manjyu x Ginza Sembikiya Fruit Daifuku&#8221; has also been lunched. It is a sweets that wrapped fruits carefully selected by Ginza Sembikiya with Daifuku of Hanzono Manjyu. &#8220;Daifuku&#8221; is a soft rice cake, usually stuffed with sweet bean paste.<br \/>\nThere is abundant flavour such as Strawberry costs 648 yen, Oranges costs 540 yen and Kiwi 431 yen.<\/p>\n<p>Other menu such as &#8220;Hanazono tedzukuri saichu (\u82b1\u5712\u624b\u3065\u304f\u308a\u6700\u4e2d)&#8221; will cost 270 yen for a piece.<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yokoso-shinjuku.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/hanazono-manjyu_3.jpg\" alt=\"hanazono-manjyu3\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hanazono tedzukuri saichu 270 yen<\/p><\/div><div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yokoso-shinjuku.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/hanazono-manjyu_4.jpg\" alt=\"hanazono-manjyu4\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\"  \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fruit Daifuku\u3000648 yen<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>In the cafe space, you can also enjoy Japanese sweets such as Hanazono Parfait (1296 yen), Oshiruko (702 yen), Mitsu-mame (540 yen), Aanmitsu (756 yen)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In the new store, you can also enjoy take-out option of soft ice cream, which has three flavour: Hokaido Vanilla, Uji matcha and Kinako (roasted soybean flour). &#8216;Hanazono Ice cream&#8217; will cost you from 500 yen.
