24 hours open relaxation space with a private room booth and a women-only floor!

“TSUTAYA BOOK APARTMENT” which was based on the concept of “common living” that provides relaxing space and working space centered on “book” has opened in Shinjuku 3-chome on 6th December 2017.

Shinjuku is a place where the annual number of passengers boasts the world’s No. 1 place and also a popular city among visitors from within the country and abroad. In such a town as Shinjuku, “TSUTAYA BOOK APARTMENT” offers a relaxing and calm space for their customers.

You can also bring the coffee purchased at Starbucks on the third floor and can do your work in a “coworking space” on the 4th floor.

There are many kinds of goods around Starbucks.

On the 5th floor and 6th floor, there is a shared space where you can take off your shoes and read books. Furthermore, there is also a private room booth where you can change into lounge wear and relax. (Lounge wear is not free of charge)

Relax space on 5th and 6th floor

There is a women-only floor on the 6th floor and there is also a locker, shower room and powder room on the 5th floor. It is also possible to do a girl’s party in a 12-seater tatami area.

In the basement first floor, there is a bar called “know by moto” which is a collaboration of a bookshop and with Japanese sake (alcohol). On the first floor, there is a Family Mart (convenience store) which has in-store design and offers a large selection of items. There is also a Starbucks on the third floor, which is the largest BOOK & CAFE in the Shinjuku area seating 185 seats.
